  1. I recently switched from a 9 degree Big Bertha to a Diablo Octane 10.5. I liked the feel of the octane, but I was unhappy with the higher trajectory. I bought the Razor with an 8.5 degree loft and I love it. This club is easy to hit and the lower trajectory has increased my distance by more than 40 yards! I used it for the first time last Friday and I was surprised a how forgiving this driver is. The day was made perfect by my first hole-in-one too (using a different club though)!

  2. I’ve never hit the Octane, but I have smacked around the Razor and that Club is hot, Callaway Drivers have a more solid deeper sound, than the Taylor Made R1, R11. I really like the Callaway but I like the adjustablity of the Taylor Made better with loft and lie a little more

  3. Open golf tournaments, such as the U.S. Open, are held to try and give amateurs the chance to break into the field of professional golf. Golfers participate in a series of smaller tournaments to qualify for the Open where they proceed to the big tournament where they compete against professionals. The last amateur to win a U.S. Open was back in 1933.’,

    See ya soon

  4. Legends is probably the best deal in MB. Our group is going back for our 3rd time this month. For the price, you can’t beat this deal. The courses range from fun to challenging and in good shape. They are not championship courses, but definitely better than your average public course. The varying tees make it suitable for all levels. Our group handicaps range from the low to mid teens and everyone agreed that the courses were challenging, but fun.

The real seller for me was the fact that you had everything right there on the resort and the package included breakfast, 2 beers each day, and unlimited use of the driving range and putting/chipping greens. To me, that definitely beat other years where we had to drive all over MB to get to the courses.

The downside is that you’re not really close to much decent nightlife if you’re looking to party and really the only nearby food options are chain restaurants.

  5. Joe,

Thanks for the feedback, could you contact us next time you want to take a group down to the Legends, we would love to book that trip for your group. I will get you the most competitive price on the market.

  6. Wild Dunes is amazing. Its located on the Atlantic Ocean just North of Charleston SC. Golf at the Links Course is quite the experience. Let us know at if we can help plan your Charleston golf trip.

  7. where is the advantage? golfers have been using belly putter for over 30years now and no statistics back up the claim that its an unfair advantage. just because 4/6 majors have been won with an anchored stroke. what if Webb Simpson win 4 more majors between now and 2016? will people put an * by it and say he had an unfair advantage?

  8. #14 on Maidstone would make a great 19th hole. Especially since its right by the halfway house. The dream is just a reacquiring round of golf that doesn’t get any better. Beautiful day, great company, and a feeling of accomplishment.

  9. Yes i agree Boo Boo is very likable. It was not cool that they penalized him for playing to slow. I am looking to learn to play golf. I think it could be a good workout due to all the walking.

  10. The Love course is in great shape. I pick a spot on the tee in front of my ball for alignment, these tees are so good it’s sometimes hard to find a spot that is imperfect. Really nice course that is fun to play, One of the best on the Grand Strand. I pay more to play here than I usually pay on the strand but it is well worth it.

  11. Stayed here during the Arnold Palmer Invitational, so was more than happy not to have to travel from any other hotel to the tournament.

Staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and professional.

Rooms had lovely older furniture and the washroom was huge and modern. Room was very clean. Plentiful supply of soaps etc

Spa is excellent, pool is a decent size.

Free wifi throughout the hotel and a wire connector in rooms.

Would stay again in a heartbeat.

  12. My husband and I came here for an anniversary trip. We knew it was a family type resort but we like to check out places that may be good for a family trip. And it is definitely a great family place. The grounds were beautiful. We did have problems finding a seat at the pool most of the time. But they have tables and chairs at the restuarant between the pools so we were able to sit there and wait for lounge chairs to come available. We had no problem with service or the room. It was a nice place we’d like to take the kids back for. Great location to drive to Charleston for dinner or a daytime outing.

  13. Thanks for your comments. We are glad to hear you had a nice time at Wild Dunes Resort. This Golf Resort is one of our golf partners so if your looking to book another trip we are here to help you get a great deal.

  14. Thanks for your comments. We are glad to hear you had a nice time at Arnold Palmers Bay Hill Club and Lodge . This Golf Resort is one of our golf partners so if your looking to book another trip we are here to help you get a great deal.

  15. This place is extremely nice. Its only 30 min from Orlando airport, and it feels like the Italian countryside. oh yeah there is awesome golf with elevation change in FL, almost unheard of.

  16. If you are tired of looking at an egged shaped saucer at address with most of the newer driver heads and want a well balanced, attractive look at address, then the Cleveland Classic Golf Driver club is for you. The ball comes off the face with a pop even with off center hits. This club is not only long but gives you the feel that it is more workable for fades and draws.

  17. Legends is an amazing golf experience. We played golf at Moorland, and Heathland. A Pete Dye and Tom Doak designs respectfully. The fairways and greens were in immaculate conditions. The greens were rolling 11 on the stint meter, and they treated us like we were at a nice country club, the Legends staff was very attentive and the cart girl was always close by. I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to mix golf, beach, beer and fun times together. Tee-Links was able to save us about $50 per person on this trip!

  18. A foursome played at the Moorlands course at the Legends in Myrtle Beach and had a terrific time. The golf drop off area was well attended and prompt. The information they gave us was consistent with what we experienced on the course. The ranger that welcomed us at the first tee was cordial and welcoming. The breakfast and lunch that we ate was complete and delicious. All of this was included on our price. The ladies that took our orders were charming and the food arrived quickly to our specifications. One of our members ordered a cheese pizza and it was a good size which made all of us wish we had ordered that.
The Moorlands course was well planned out with many challenging holes, but all playable and accessible from the white tees. We saw the ranger twice in our round and each time he was available for assistance and tips. We played at a good pace even though it was crowded that day.
Overall I would give the Legends experience a thumbs up and we will return to play some of the other courses in their packages.

  19. Today, I went to the beach front with mmy children. I found a sea shell and gave
it to my 4 year old daughter annd said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed
the shell to her ear and screamed. There wwas a hermit crab inside and it pinched
her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is
totally off topic but I had to tel someone!

  20. The fairway woods are all the woods numbered higher than 1 (the 1-wood is the driver). Most golfers carry a 3-wood in their bag and some also carry a 2-wood or 5-wood (among others). Note that, in this era, most of these clubs called “woods” are no longer made of wood. Rather, they are made of metal. The term “woods” is retained to distinguish these clubs from irons – the woods still have a much larger clubhead and a different design.

  21. Looking for reasonable green fees when we visit Fort Myers in January, 2015. Are there discount coupon books we can purchase that have reduced rates for golf courses in the Fort Myers area?

  22. Our Upstate New York Cabin Rental at Wellnesste Lodge/ Sept 12-14Duncan and I really eoyejnd ourselves. Sitting by the river at Flat Rocks and listening to the river was amazing. We took a picnic there and stayed all afternoon. We will definitely recommend to any who ask. The hostess was wonderful. We eoyejnd our stay tremendously. Thanks.Cathy & Duncan, Martville NY

  23. Indian Wells course has big lakes, mostly along the left side of the fairways, and features four sets of tees, rolling terrain with forced carries over water on 15-holes. The course was redesigned – six greens, rebuilt their greens, removed 47 bunkers and 200 trees, restored the clubhouse, reworked the practice range and flip-flopped their front and back nines so that their par-4, 9th hole, which made the “Myrtle Beach Dream 18,” is now the 18th.

  24. Still a favorite on our six visit. We were upgraded to an ocean front room at no extra charge. Not sure why but we were happy to accept. Nothing out of place. Looks like the hotel is still brand new. Beach, pool, spa all outstanding. Hard to imagine a better spot for a long or short visit.
Stayed November 2014, traveled as a couple

  25. The lines are long heading to Kiawah this morning but we are looking forward to an exciting day!

Notes from today: 1. Followed Tiger’s and Rory’s group on front nine. Rory is in charge and it’s his tournament to win or lose. 2. Sitting near 13th green, watching Tiger’s group come in and watching live coverage at on iPad at same time. Golf heaven! 3. Despite Tiger not playing well, as soon as …
