The Tradition Course is an 8-hole championship facility that is considered to be one of the best rounds to play in the area. It is a must play, with a design that will please a great variety of skill levels. There are 30 sand hazards of various shapes and sizes in the form of waste bunkers and fairway or greenside traps, and water hazards come into play on 7 holes, with a couple forced carries.

Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club is one of the most challenging Myrtle Beach golf courses. With a course raring of 74.8 and a slope of 140 even the most skilled golfers will be tested on this Jack Nicklaus signature course. 4 1/2 Star Course – Set amongst century-old oaks, Pawleys Plantation is the perfect place to play golf. Designed by Jack Nicklaus himself, the outstanding Pawley’s Plantation golf course provides outstanding scenery at every round.

One of the most challenging in the Myrtle Beach area, this Tom Jackson signature course is one of the premier “plantation” courses and a favorite among returning golfers. True to its name, River Club features water on 15 of 18 holes, and over 100 sand traps and bunkers. Long hitters have some room off the tee, but approach shots need to be true. The dramatic par-5, 18th is unquestionably one of the finest finishing holes on the Grand Strand, offering risk and reward to those who can carry the water twice for a possible chance at eagle.

The Tournament Players Club in Myrtle Beach was designed by Tom Fazio with input from PGA Tour player Lanny Wadkins and opened for play in 1999. The course earned accolades quickly and the next year (2000) hosted the Senior Tour Championship, which was won by Tom Watson. Other PGA greats such as Gary Player, Ray Floyd and Lee Trevino have tried their luck against the complexities of the course. Many fairways are tree lined, with ample landing areas off the tees.
