Tradition Course
The Tradition Course is an 8-hole championship facility that is considered to be one of the best rounds to play in the area. It is a must play, with a design that will please a great variety of skill levels. There are 30 sand hazards of various shapes and sizes in the form of waste bunkers and fairway or greenside traps, and water hazards come into play on 7 holes, with a couple forced carries.
Litchfield Course
Litchfield course carries with it a proud Lowcountry tradition and is built on the former grounds of one of the largest rice plantations on the Waccamaw Neck, as evidenced by the stately plantation-style clubhouse, which is surrounded by live giant oaks that date back centuries. Litchfield Country Club is full of memorable holes and has some solid par 4 holes; especially the doglegs. Number 6 plays 363 yards from the White tees and requires accuracy off the tee to avoid the large tree on the left at the corner of the dogleg.

Our favorite Area To Vacation and Golf
South Myrtle not only has some of the best golf in the US, it also has soo much low country charm and courses were perfect. The greens weren’t overly complicated but challenging. We especially enjoyed the Litchfield course it has so much character of old oaks and preserved structures though-out the beautiful layout. We stayed in a nice villa on the course with good views of the course. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the property. The beach was about a mile and a half away with amazing seafood restaurants. It really was a relaxing trip. Thanks for helping us book.
